Q. How do I join the library?

A. To join the library, use the online registration form or visit us during staffed hours 8am - 5pm.


Q. Can I put a hold on a book that is checked out to someone else?

A. Yes! Contact the library and talk to one of our helpful staff - they'll notify you as soon as it is available.


Q. Can I borrow a book from another Queensland Health Library?

A. All SCHHS staff can use our Document Delivery service (also known as Interlibrary Loans) to obtain journal articles or books that SCHI library doesn’t have. This service is for obtaining resources for work related purposes only.


Q. How can I access the library's electronic resources from home?

A. Registering for a CKN account will give you access to resources from home or from your mobile. For assistance with creating an account, contact the CKN help desk or ask us!


Q. How do I book the SCHI Library meeting room?

A. Send an email with your session details to sc-library@health.qld.gov.au and we will get back to you. Please note that your room booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email.
